We are looking for an alternative for thiourea in silver polish/care due to its toxicity and classification according to REACH/CLP. Acidified thiourea chemically dissolves tarnish from disilver sulfide on silver products, e.g. jewellery. Attached is an example of MSDS for a silver polish.
Alternative should replace
Thiourea, CAS 62-56-6 (*beta*-Thiopseudourea, 2-Thiourea, Isothiourea, Thiocarbamide, Thiocarbonic acid diamide)
