Highly efficient non-phthalate plasticizer for many different applications

Summary

A plasticizer is used to soften plastics and to make it more flexible. DOA (Dioctyl Adipate) is a non-phthalate, highly efficient plasticizer designed to give excellent low temperature properties to polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Its excellent wetting characteristics make it desirable for plastisol use where low plasticizer content coupled with low viscosity, as well as good fusion characteristics are necessary.

Description

DOA is primary a plasticizer for PVC that provides exceptional cold resistance. Its superiority in compatibility with PVC, thermal stability, light stability and water resistance enables wide use in PVC films, wire coverings, garden hoses etc.

Possible replacement to

Hazardous plasticizers, for example phthalates.
